Programme Objectives:
- To acquire the knowledge of various Mechanical Engineering related subject areas necessary to pursue an engineering career and obtain a tertiary qualification.
- Acquire the critical knowledge and understand the principal functions of various components for purpose of design and maintenance.
- Acquire and Develop academic research skills.
- Perform and supervise effectively the various Mechanical Engineering works on site.
- To be competent in their respective fields of engineering through academic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering; and
- Increase judgement and problem solving skills in engineering related issues.

Entry Requirements:
Candidates for admission should normally be at least age 18 on the year of enrolment and Possess ONE of the following:
- Diploma from Stansfield College or equivalent
- Other equivalent qualifications
- Mature students with technical qualifications and working experience in engineering industry
Programme Structure:
The Stansfield Academic Committee (SAC) is setup to ensure overall programme delivery in accordance to
prescribed standards and operational procedures as documented in our ISO 9001 Quality and Procedure Manual.
The Registrar Office is responsible for formulating resource and information systems strategies to meet the needs of the academic and administrative activities of Stansfield College. Term lecturer evaluations are conducted by the Office at the end of each term and presented at the examination board where actions will be taken to address potential problems identified.
The Examination Board is responsible for decisions regarding student progression and award. The board is also responsible for quality checks to ensure appropriate marking standards and grading procedure.
